(More customer reviews)I did a lot of research on outdoor speakers as I wanted to get some good, quality sounding speakers for our new covered deck. Very happy w/ these Boston Acoustic speakers. They have good, full sound and can crank really loud (louder than we ever listen to them). I was considering the 7's as I have a special affinity for bass, but decided on the 6's based on other's feedback and the cost difference. Though I don't know how they would compare side by side, I'm happy with the low end on these 6's and in the overall sound.
I had originally purchased two of JBL Outdoor speakers (http://www.amazon.com/JBL-Control-Bookshelf-Outdoor-Speaker/dp/B001ABN8LQ) from Costco, and was really quite disappointed with the low-end sound (considering the brand name), so I took them back and got these BA's.
Would definitely recommend.
