(More customer reviews)I've always been a firm believer in the bookshelf/subwoofer system for audio. In any tower speaker I'd ever heard, the upper-bass was always loose, and muddled. For that reason, I'd always bought and owned high quality bookshelf speakers, and mated them with a good subwoofer. (And that's still a terrific way to go)
Then I heard the M60ti's. Holy cow. Clarity throughout the audio range. Bass is very tight and clean. Midrange is clear - voices sound like they're right there in the room with you. And the highs? You'll hear things you've never heard before. You can hear the guitar pick in accoustic guitar. You'll hear Norah Jones' delicate inhale before singing. It's all there.
I love listing to speakers. I go out listening all the time, and I've yet to hear something that has made me want to trade my M60ti's in. They are very similar in sound/tone/detail as the MUCH more expensive B&W 703's. If you've heard those, and just couldn't afford their $2500+ price tag, give the Axiom M60ti's a try.
