(More customer reviews)I bought a pair of these speakers for 1400 last year. They are decent speakers. The highs are very clear and the mid range is good. They match my Paradigm studio speakers well (690, 40, 20 all V40). My only complaint is the lows are not quite low enough, but with my sub-woofer they work well enough. Very good as Classical, Country and Surround Sound speakers with a good sound stage, but lack a little punch for Rock and R and B. If the former is your taste then these a very good speakers, if not you might want to look else where. I am overall pretty pleased with my E100s at the price I paid.
Update: I recently started playing with my system and I increased the watts of my amps by bridging two nads together and what a difference! Bass you want bass, they got it. A nice musical tight bass that get very close to the output of my HUE VF-3 which can rattle the walls if you don't keep the volume down, but is not as musical as the E100s. My paradigm speakers are good these are much better. They are in the class of the Signature Series and B&W 803-4 maybe just a hair down depending on your ear. Do you like it as it is or warmed up? They are more like the B&W 3-4 in that they play it as it is. These are not efficent speakers they love power which drive the 10 seperate cones that are in the array. You will need to at least Bi amp at 150 W, but they really want more I bridged my two amps and gave them 300 W and they really shined. So be forwarned get a good high powered amp to drive these and you will find they can take it till your ear's bleed. I now Highly Recommend.
