(More customer reviews)Got this sub to replace a Cambridge Soundworks BassCube 12S. I was afraid that moving from a 12" to a 10" sub might cause a loss of some bass, but was I wrong. This thing really adds some thump to movie soundtracks, and it's smaller and less obtrusive than the 12" it replaces. What I like is that it's downward firing. A lot of subs today are side-firing, which just seems like a recipe for disaster with kids and pets. It's ported in addition, which adds to the overall bass response.
Finally, the finish is nice. I got the black as the cherry was out of stock. My old sub was a straight black laminate, but this has the nice wood grain look to it.
Overall, I've very happy with this unit.
