(More customer reviews)Yes, you can buy speakers that are more expensive but these are exactly what I was looking for. I bought two pair, one to use as "bookshelf" speakers and another pair for outside on the deck and they are perfect for what I wanted. I didn't need anything that would shake the room, just something that would fulfill my need for somewhat surround sound and the ability to blend in to our cabinets/deck. These definitely fit the bill!
